What up all? Im Brian and I work too much but I like to have a good time when Im not at work. On an average friday night you will find me cruisin the streets all over DFW on my sportbike or at a local concert/bar/party drinkin with my friends. Im heavily tattooed but they are easily covered with a short sleeve shirt. Im really into fast cars/trucks/bikes and pretty much any custom vehicle. I live in a house with a male roomate. I love dogs and dont care for cats very much. I have one spoiled rotten female pit, shes my baby and sleeps in my bed every night. I have moved all over Texas. I live in Fort Worth now and I'm about ready to get out... but it's not quite time I suppose. I grew up in private christian schools... so I was more or less sheltered for a while. I played in pop punk bands for 5 years following that... died my hair and got lots of piercings. ... constantly having some kind of background noise around me, which has lead me to having a pretty diverse collection of music. I even started collecting vinyl a few years ago and have about 200 albums - mostly 80's pop and hair bands.

... randomly complimenting at least one person every day just to get a smile out of them. The more obscure the compliment (I once told a lady that I liked the shape of her eyebrows) the bigger the smile. Try it sometime.

... collecting EVERYTHING. If I have one of something, it is pretty safe to assume that I have two (or in most cases, more than 20). I am still deciding if this is healthy behavoir or if I should seek help. My collections include: keychains, coffee mugs, paperweights, magnets, dolls, antique purses, anything from the '80s and too much other stuff to list.

I like to go out with my friends ,at my favorite pub, and have a few beers but I also enjoy sitting in my patio listening to some good music with a glass of wine relaxing watching my waterfall at my pool. I just like life, plain and simple. Life has ups and downs, and all the time its moving forward, right? I like the risks and rewards, the simple transactions of just a hello exchanged between strangers, the emotions shared with friends and family members, even the run-on sentences made while trying your heart out to describe yourself. I enjoy almost anything... I get lost in movies, passionate about discussions, and more or less give my all to anything that will take it. This is the hardest part for me because I don't like to talk about myself. Overall, I am a homebody in that most of the time I prefer to stay home and hang out, where you can hold an actual conversation, versus going somewhere. On first impression, I think I am often found as shy because it takes me some time to break out of my shell around new people. I think I'm easy to get along with. When hanging out with my friends, I am often the peacemaker of the group and I like to avoid conflict when possible. I enjoy reading and, when I'm in a creative mood, writing. I also collect blades, such as swords and daggers. One of my prized possessions is a double-edged battle axe. I also enjoy sewing.

I am a fun-loving woman with a lot on the ball. I'm easy to get along with and stay pretty much on an even keel ... no mood swings here. I can be pretty sarcastic but only in a fun, playful way. I enjoy people who can take what I dish out as well as dish it out themselves. I like RVing with my two dogs, reading, swimming (more like floating on an air mattress in the pool), yard work, grillin' and chillin' with friends and family, walks, dining out, dining in, walking around Sundance Square, mexican food, and movies. I enjoy watching the Cowboys, Mavericks and Texas Rangers but don't know the first thing about hockey. I'm not an exercise freak, but I'm in good shape. I would like to say that I really enjoy working out, but I'm afraid that would be a biggo lie. I like all kinds of music, especially country, and country dancing, but I don't think I'm all that good at it, the dancing that is. I have a tendency to lead, so my dance partner needs to be strong enough to control the situation ... or just let me lead.

I'm a pretty direct person and don't enjoy game playing. I expect people to say what they mean and mean what they say. I'm serious about this. The worst thing to me is a relationship with no communication.

Once drove 16 hrs to Sedona,Az with no place to stay and landed a 5 star hotel fo free. I like reading. If you find me drinking a coke its either cream soda or Dr pepper. When Im out with friends its at a bar not a "club". I bought 10 dollar mavs tickets and turned em into floor seats. I like school. I love summer time. Family means a lot to me. I always find these things hard to fill out... you are worried that you don't say enough to make people find you interesting or you can go on and on... say too much that it reads like a novel but either people won't take the time to read it or find that there is not much to say once someone finally chats or meets up with you?

First things first, my personality... It takes a while to get to know me as I come off a bit quiet and shy... but once I get to know you well I can talk quite a bit although I prefer to be the listener sometimes. On a rare occasion I hit it off quite well with a stranger, but it's actually very hard for me to trust someone right away. I am a lover of the arts, music, and culture. I love museums, concerts, live shows, renaissance faires, festivals, clubbing at goth clubs (only sometimes, I'm not hardcore), "dancing" quite horribly, thrifting/shopping, meetups, checking out new places, general night life, grabbing tea/coffee, good conversations, and the occasional movie. I have a knack for vintage and antique things. I appreciate individuality and self expression. The medieval era and Victorian era fascinate me. While I don't let this define me entirely, I am a bit into the alternative/goth scene. I also have the heart for Japanese street fashion and steampunk styles.

I find myself somewhat of a theatrical person although I don't view myself as a so-called "theater kid"...but when it comes to putting together costumes/outfits, makeup, the whole package to some sort of event I always take it seriously and a big deal. Sometimes people think I'm crazy, but I guess that's too bad. I find it all fun. Also for me I don't necessarily view "goth" as a fashion trend, but perhaps a lifestyle and a state of mind. I admit I'm attracted at clothing, but I don't view it as some kind of phase. Not too take myself too seriously or sound pretentious, but I always felt the way I think comes off differently than a lot of people around me. I tend be very introverted and some people tend to think I over analyze things way too much. I tend to hide a lot of thoughts and feelings and it drives people insane. I'm just taking in everything that's happening. Despite how I look, I'm usually very welcoming towards anyone (especially if they can get the nerve to come and talk to me) and never make any serious judgments until I view your actions around me. Personally I think it would be a lie if I said no one makes any judgments, we all do to a degree...but if you are acting like a douche around me then I'm going to view you as is, lol. Also I am known to "giggle" a lot when I'm somewhat nervous...so it's more like nervous giggles...and this may happen if I ever meet you or someone I hardly know. So NO, I am not laughing at you! Unless...of course you want me laughing at you. :P

Well people keep asking me what I'm looking for so I might as well make that clear here... I'd like to start every relationship slowly whether we are just friends or looking into something more. I greatly emphasis slowly, I hate being rushed by all means... so if you are a guy who wants to rush with things or can't handle being patient then I'm probably not for you and you might want to move on. To be honest I'm just looking for friends for now (genuine friends, not any of the FWB stuff either) and if later something more comes up I guess if it happens, it happens. I'm not closing down the option all together, but I guess I'm not actively seeking...if that makes any sense? I'm not looking to get into anything serious right away especially in fear I might end up with the wrong person.

I have had a minor stroke and walk with either a cane or walker. I'm fine, though my children get really pissed at me when I don't ask for help doing something I really shouldn't (like moving furniture).

I am not one of those people who enjoy being outdoors a lot. (I burn through a 50 SPF sunscreen.) I do like outings like going to the zoo, botanical gardens, aquariums, flea markets, music festivals and such. I also have to worry about whether I can walk the distance or worry about tripping over my leg and foot brace. Sorry about that, but I want to be very up front about that. If that's a problem, I understand and wish you luck in your search. While I'm being up front, I want to mention that I smoke, a lot.

I love working on my crafts, especially my crocheting. I like being able to make gifts of afghans, sweaters, baby sets and other items as Christmas, birthday or just for the heck of it gifts for my family and friends. I'm planning to sign up for classes in how to make stained glass.
